In the first place, why bother focusing on goals, KPI’s and the “destination”? Things are so unexpected and beyond our control, anyway! Shouldn’t we just focus on the journey, and not be so hung up on the destination?
In the second place, goals don’t work! At the start of the year we have resolutions. Along the way our effort towards these goals weaken or get side tracked. We achieve some goals, many more we don’t. The journey is complex!
Well, it has to do with our attitude. After that, the actions and effort are tied to habits.
